What size gas canister does the Centurion Fusion use?

The fire pit connects to a standard propane gas canister via the included regulator and 3 metre hose. The canister itself isn't included, so you'll need to source one separately, typically the same type used for gas BBQs.

How long does it take to light?

The electronic ignition lights the fire pit within seconds. Once the gas is connected and the lava rocks are in place, you press the ignition button on the side control panel and adjust the flame height from there.

Does it produce smoke?

No. Because it runs on propane gas rather than wood, there's no smoke, ash or soot. This makes it easier to use near seating areas, gazebos or covered patios without smoke drifting onto guests or furniture.

What's included in the box?

You get the fire pit itself, lava rocks, a 3 metre gas hose with regulator, a weatherproof cover and a touch-up paint kit with brush for any small chips that occur during use or transport.

Is assembly required?

No. The Centurion Fusion arrives fully assembled. You only need to add the lava rocks, connect the gas hose to your propane canister and it's ready to light.

How heavy is the fire pit?

The unit is made from composite stone which keeps it lighter than solid stone equivalents while still feeling sturdy. This makes it easier for one or two people to move or reposition on the patio.

Can the flame height be adjusted?

Yes. A control dial on the side of the unit adjusts the flame from a low simmer up to the full 40,000 BTU output, giving control over both heat and visual flame height depending on the occasion.

What is the fire pit made from and how does it hold up outdoors?

It's built from composite stone with an eco-stone painted finish in dark grey. The included weatherproof cover helps protect the finish from rain and UV exposure when not in use and the touch-up paint kit allows you to fix small surface chips if they occur.
